Bodhisattva Tara is the incarnation of Avalokitesvara. Tara, Sanskrit name Tara, full name Holy Salvation Buddha Mother, ancient my country called Tara Bodhisattva, Tara Avalokitesvara, Tara has many different incarnations, including 21 Taras, 500 Taras, etc., all of which are incarnations of Avalokitesvara, and Green Tara is the main deity of all Taras, summing up all the merits of the other 20 incarnations.
She can save eight kinds of suffering, such as fire, lion, elephant, snake, water, prison, thief, and non-human, and is also called “the eight kinds of suffering”. At the same time, it can also transform the “doubt” in the human behavior of greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt, which is called the five poisons, into the ultimate perfect wisdom, and has the merit of protecting women and children.
The mantra of this deity has all the functions of pacifying, increasing, attracting and destroying, eliminating the worries and sufferings of all sentient beings, satisfying the wishes of all sentient beings, bringing them wealth, longevity, peace and good fortune in this life, eliminating all diseases, sufferings, karma and obstacles of demons, etc. It helps sentient beings to be liberated from the sea of ​​suffering of birth and death, and to be reborn in the Pure Land after death to obtain ultimate happiness. Because of her swift rescue and fierceness in destroying demonic karma, she is also called the “Swift and Brave Mother of Rescue.”
